Machine Operator / Assembly -Night Shift Location:
Portersville, PA 16051Pay Rate:
$17 hour with a $2 shift differential for night shift, making the payrate $19 hour.Shift:
Night Shift 7pm-7amJob Type:
Full-time Temp-to-Hire position for candidates who are productive, reliable and if needed.Position Description:
The team member handles product as it comes out of injection molding machines, evaluating quality before trimming, labeling, assembling & packing of product, per procedure. Candidates must wear steel toed boots no exceptions. All other PPE (safety glasses and hearing protection) will be provided to employees.Responsibilities for this position include:
Maintain workflow by keeping up with the pace set by the molding machine's output. Monitors part quality, on a continual basis, per the quality procedure sheet, quality samples & the production supervisor. Performs all necessary operations such as: trimming, labeling, assembling, stacking, packing, etc. Verifies label & stack/package accuracy. Notifies supervisor or mold/process technician of any problems or issues. Maintain clean and safe workspace.Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to walk and stand for 12 hours. Attention to detail. Ability to push, pull, lift, move and/or carry up to 50lbs. Ability to frequently reach overhead. Ability to frequently stoop, bend and kneel. Requires hand and finger dexterity.Work Environment:
Fast paced manufacturing (Paced to machines) Requires working and interacting with other team members. Requires working with dirt, dust and airborne particles. Requires wearing PPE (Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Cutting Glove and sleeve). Overtime Availability Once temporary associates are adequately trained, they are eligible to sign up for voluntary overtime. This allows associates to earn additional income while supporting production needs. Supervisors will ensure that anyone signing up for OT is fully trained for the tasks required.Benefits upon hire:
