Employee Assistance Program Requirements We are searching for a candidate with: Must know ordinary arithmetic in decimals and fractions Must be able to read simple charts Must be able to receive oral instructions from a supervisor or lead person relating to the task Be able to view surroundings and operate in a safe manner Detail Oriented- reports need to be accurate as well as noticing any defects Mental and visual attention is always needed Lift between 3-27 pounds for aluminum products, 7-62 pounds for steel products, 12-42 pounds for copper products (Assistance is available for heavier products) Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Set-up involves the setting of length controls, adjustments of width guides, tapers, loading coiled stock and stringing up of machinery When running painted valley, load cartons into a carton magazine Preform corrugated cartons and fill with product, seal using a staple, carton sealer or other tool Move the finished product to a shipping pallet using established lifting techniques Make sure the product and carton labels are correct and in the proper place Wrap the pallet with stretch wrap and hand transport to designated area-using forklift Re-supply work area with a new pallet Make periodic inspections of product length Check for various metal conditions such as oilcan or wavy edge, paint quality and color match Notify a supervisor of any quality problems Lubricate the machine or refill lubrication devices as required Dispose of any scrap metal Maintain a safe work area and keep in a neat and orderly manner Stock supplies when need to be filled Fill out all required paperwork Enter all time and production information into the computer in a timely and accurate manner Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by Leadership Position Details Full Time Located in: Lancaster, PA 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am We are proud of our commitment to equal employment opportunity for all qualified job candidates and associates and ask that all associates support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
