Works in the Production Shop operating a variety of machines in the rough turn area. Cell Technicians will produce parts in tolerance at the rate required by each operation. Responsibilities- Routinely rotate through cell to operate multiple rough turn machines as well as walking beams, center drill and cut off machine to manufacture product at the established rate of production. Regularly set up, install, replace, and remove tooling. Measure all manufactured products accurately through lifting, pulling, pushing followed by applying proper technique to hand measuring tools, template gages, flush pin gages and other product related measuring equipment. Work with and follow Basic Rules of Manufacturing, General Dynamics OTS Environmental, ISO Documentation, Quality Policies, and other work-related documents. Demonstrate common safety practices associated with the manufacturing environment and the use of hand or industrial equipment. Required to recognize problems, make corrective adjustments and/or notify appropriate supervision.Qualifications- Required Education:
Degree from a college or technical school or any combination of education, training or work related.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to work 3rd shift and must be able to train on 1st shift for a period of 45 days. Must have excellent written and communication skills, basic math skills and be able to work in a team environment.Similar remote jobs
