Job Description
A local manufacturer is looking for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to join our team as a light industry machine operator. The Light Industry Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production. Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications Produces the required quantity of items within established specifications Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance When necessary, makes minor adjustments to machine for varying output of products (training provided) Packages or off-loads finished products to appropriate department or area in order to maintain production work flow Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area Performs other related duties as assigned Varying shifts available. Work area is climate controlled.
