9/1/2022 Job Summary The Production Operator will take a hands-on role in the production of Poly-ISO insulation by performing a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials through the production process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate production equipment and packaging equipment Follow production schedules, job instructions, quality standards, specifications, and procedures

Detect and/or correct and report faulty operations or defective materials Calculate output: square feet, sheet length, and linear feet

Measuring, cutting, and gluing materials Ensure safe equipment operation and personal safety compliance Moving materials using a forklift

Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization (5S/Lean Manufacturing)

Other production responsibilities as needed and assigned

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills Skills in using power and hand tools such as chop saw, table saw, band saw

Strong verbal communication and listening skills Ability to follow instructions and read production orders

Ability to effectively communicate Ability to read measuring gauges such as a tape measure and calipers

Ability to operator a forklift

Education and Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Basic computer experience a plus

Forklift experience a plus

Equipment Used:

Use saws, pallet jacks, hand tools, bar code equipment and other production equipment

Working Conditions:

Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following: Temperatures exposed to both ambient/outside temperatures.

Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
