Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:15am
Pay:
Starting Rate $20-22 ($2 shift differential once converted to perm)

Allentown, PA Slitter Operator Responsibilities:
Set up, calibrate, and operate slitting machines according to work orders and production schedules Install and adjust blades, spacers, and materials to ensure accurate and efficient machine operation Monitor production and perform in-process quality checks using calipers and micrometers to verify width, tension, and edge quality Identify and troubleshoot machine issues, clear jams, and correct defects to minimize downtime Safely load, unload, and transport large material rolls using forklifts or hoists Accurately record production data, update inventory systems, and complete shift documentation Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and perform routine preventative maintenance to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Slitter Operator Requirements:
Prior manufacturing experience in slitting, laminating, printing, or similar environment preferred Strong ability to operate, adjust, and troubleshoot industrial machinery Proficiency in basic math and use of measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
