Sheet Metal Machine Operator Job Description The Sheet Metal Machine Operator sets up, programs, and operates CNC-controlled sheet metal fabrication equipment, including press brakes, lasers, and punch presses. This role runs a variety of machines from multiple manufacturers and provides support to other sheet metal production areas as needed, ensuring high-quality, precise parts are produced safely and efficiently. Essential Skills Hands-on experience in sheet metal machine operation. Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC-controlled sheet metal fabrication equipment. Ability to set up and run press brakes. Ability to set up and run punch presses. Ability to set up and run laser cutting machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Skill in using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to follow safety procedures in a machine shop environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of York Haven, PA.
