• Not Required Under direct supervision the Assembly Operator performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Must be available to work 2nd shift. Shifts are determined by business needs.
• What You Will Do

Technical Tasks:

_ + Perform machine and/or manual assembly. + Scope, soldering, and computer work required. + Perform unique assembly processes. + Accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions. + Take ownership of accuracy of processes. + _

Customer Focus:

_ + Meet internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team. + Build parts that meet drawing specifications. + Comply with applicable elements of quality systems (ACE). + _

Special Projects:

_ + Demonstrate initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule. + Understand and use computer tools such as SAP and accurately follow work instructions. + Achieve special process certification where applicable. + Demonstrate a proactive role in problem solving. + Pursue certifications in continuous improvement (ACE). + _

Communication:

_ + Interface with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve problems related to production issues. + Effectively interact with others. + _

Participation:

_ + Participate in cost reduction plans. + Participate in waste minimization efforts. + Participate in audits. + May be required to be on feet for long periods of time. + Safety glasses and other safety equipment are required depending on task. + Must be able to effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities. + Ability to focus on safety and quality is extremely important. + Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. + This position is on 2nd Shift. Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift. +

• Training is typically on 1st shift. Candidates must be willing and able to train on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks.
• Qualifications You Must Have
• + Requires HS Diploma or equivalent.
