  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with CNC programming and automation systems, and a commitment to maintaining precise standards in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and fabrication equipment. Set up machinery according to specifications, including programming with Fanuc controls, CAM programming, and utilizing CAD drawings. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality. Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications for accurate fabrication. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools; assist in packaging finished products for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; document production data accurately. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, and tooling adjustments. Support quality control processes by inspecting parts for defects and ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards. Utilize hand tools effectively during assembly, fabrication, or repair tasks as needed. Skills Proficiency with CNC programming, CAM software, SolidWorks, and blueprint reading. Experience operating Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Knowledge of various manufacturing equipment including stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, and welding tools. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently. Familiarity with quality measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T specifications accurately. Experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments involving machining, fabrication, assembly, or packaging. Competence in using hand tools and basic math skills for precise measurements. Warehouse experience related to materials handling and inventory management is advantageous. Effective communication skills for working collaboratively within diverse teams.
