Job Description
About us Electrolizing, Inc. is a global company rapidly growing. We are results oriented and promote initiative and innovation. The Masking Technician is responsible for the masking of customer parts which have surfaces that must be free of Electrolizing or ME-92 coatings. The masking process consists of applying various vinyl tapes, metal tapes, wax, thermo-plastic and paint to parts. This process is performed by hand mostly in a seated position. If you enjoy repetitive tasks, can work quickly and accurately as well as independently with little oversight; we encourage you to apply. If you are bilingual in English and Spanish, that is a major plus for training purposes. The Masking Technician is responsible for: 1. Reviewing processing documents and applying masking to customer parts prior to plating. 2. Verifying piece count. 3. Safe handling of customer parts to avoid loss or damage. 4. Reporting any non-conforming conditions to the Production Supervisor or to the Quality Supervisor. 5. Advising and assisting in establishing and/or updating 'Prep Sheets' used to document detailed masking methods and materials. 6. Completing all required paperwork. 7. The daily upkeep (cleaning) of workstation. 8. Assisting in other departments when needed.
