Assembly Operator Spirax Sarco Inc United States, South Carolina, Blythewood May 01, 2026 Assembly Operator Here at Spirax Sarco we offer the industry's most extensive range of products with services, coupled with practical industry application expertise. In short, we build solutions that set the benchmark for steam utilization worldwide.
Position Summary:
Assembles and tests a range of basic products within a defined product group following established assembly procedures while meeting targeted efficiency levels required within the section. Primary Responsibilities Align, fit, adjust, and assemble parts to satisfy requirements Inspect final products Implement safety protocols Report defective material or questionable conditions to the team leader. Other Job Functions Aligns, fits, adjusts, and assembles parts to meet requirements of the product using hand and/or power tools. Test finished parts to ensure they meet quality test requirements Use hoist to lift parts and equipment Under close supervision, completes tasks as advised by operating schedules. Accountable and responsible for all safety and environmental compliance as it relates to the position. Actively participates in crafting and maintaining safety culture (BBS Conversations/Reporting Incidents & Accidents appropriately) and suggesting improvements. Implement 5S objectives.
Required Qualifications Education:
High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
1+ years in manufacturing or assembly experience required.
Specialized Skills:
Basic math skills such as ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply same.
Physical Demands:
Indicate percent of time spent sitting/standing/walking and lifting expectations in pounds
