Who You Are:
The machine operator will prepare production equipment for operation by making equipment setup adjustments, assisting with equipment changeovers. Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems, reporting production and quality data, reporting decisions made, and referring questions to the supervisor Ensures operation of equipment by following preventive maintenance policies and procedures, reporting needed changes and repairs as needed Must have ability to read orders, blueprints, and mill schedules to determine setup specifications, work sequences, product dimensions, and installation procedures Ability to ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards is critical
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of water jet, brake press, or using a plasma or laser table Attention to detail Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly Responsiveness and adaptability to changes in the work environment Solid math skills and knowledge of sophisticated measuring and testing equipment Must understand pneumatic and hydraulic systems as they relate to fixtures and machines
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
  • additional education preferred Manufacturing environment experience preferred Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting for extended periods, standing for extended periods, reading and walking Ability to work with multiple priorities Candidate must be able to pass drug test, background check, and physical Must be able to work with safe working practices
