On-site •The Impact You'll Make•Danfoss in Easley, SC is looking for an Assembler to oversee the complete assembly process within a specific cell during the 2nd shift, from initial setup to final testing. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The position offers a wage of $18.50 per hour, plus a $1.50 premium for the 2nd shift. Employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of employment which include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, annual bonus program, paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, a great working environment including 100% climate-controlled facility and much more! We pride ourselves on growing our human potential and encouraging career growth within our facilities. •What You'll Be Doing•Load and unload valves into assembly fixtures and transport them to designated workstations. Ensure minimum production targets are consistently achieved. Promptly notify the supervisor of any shortages in assembly supplies. Accurately interpret and follow instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders. Operate assembly and torque tools efficiently. Inspect defective valves and perform necessary repairs to meet specifications. •What We're Looking For•A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Candidates should have basic math skills and the ability to read and write clearly. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Strong motor skills are essential. Mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED techniques is preferred. Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams is expected. •What You'll Get from Us•1.
