Job Description

Position Summary Rico Industries Inc. is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Light Industrial Machine Operators to join our production team on all shifts! The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to produce quality products in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to established procedures. Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine machine adjustments and notify maintenance of equipment issues. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Standardized Work Practices Meet daily production goals while maintaining product quality. Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and preventive maintenance as needed. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required; training will be provided. Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Repetitive use of hands and arms while operating machinery. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures Work Environment Manufacturing or warehouse setting. Fast-paced production environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
