Salary $18 - $24 This position is responsible for the daily setup and operation of one or more CNC Laser cutting machines. He/She will also assist other CNC operators with any of their daily duties including are housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow production schedule presented by management. 2. Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipment. 3. Identify and retrieve the correct raw materials for each part, from inventory for the day's production. 4. Load part programs from data base, ensuring program revision is correct for the order being produced. 5. Load material and unload parts from machines. 6. Inspect part to insure conformance with print requirements. 7. Perform machine alignment procedures and optic cleaning to keep equipment at peak operating performance. 8. Facilitate work-order paper flow in accordance with ISO quality standards. 9. Safely operate forklift and bridge crane to handle materials. 10. Remove slag and metal waste from laser machines. 11. Keep work area clean and presentable. 12. Perform all other duties assigned by management.
