$19.25Position Summary:
- The Mezzanine Attendant is responsible for racking barrier and non-barrier tubing at optimum output and yield meeting or exceeding departmental goals and internal and external Customers' expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform job functions in a safe manner at all times and to ensure the safety of coworkers.
- Work as a team member to ensure goals and objectives of the department are reached.
- Mezzanine Attendant must be able to support multiple racks as well as assigned racks when needed.
- Communicate effectively to relieve Operators and Mezzanine attendants when there are changes to production orders and quality concerns.
- Perform quality inspections and adhere to Standard Operating Conditions and Standard
- Operating Procedures to ensure correct formulations are being produced and labeled properly on racks.
- Must have the ability to trouble shoot winders (tape width, buildup, cores, and splices) and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Must control quality by monitoring the racks for various visual quality defects such as edge creases, voids, gels, scratches and all other visual characteristics.
- Must be able to ensure accurate label and weight of tubing. Properly identify material being produced on winders
- Perform all duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience
- Requires basic reading, writing and math skills
Other Requirements:
- Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred
- Flexibility within a high-performance work environment
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Able to work without close supervision
