Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a Trumpf TruLaser machine and perform regular machine maintenance to ensure proper longevity and cutting standards. Duties Operate a CNC laser machine to cut sheet metal parts according to specifications. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for precise measurements. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues to management. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to laser cutting, machining, and tooling. Requirements Proven experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment. Knowledge of fabrication techniques and quality inspection processes. Proficient in using hand tools, calipers, and measuring instruments. Ability to operate cranes and forklifts for material handling. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Hours are Monday-Thursday, from 6am-4:30pm. Overtime is optional when available.
