Job Description
Compensation and Scheduling We are hiring for a Machine Operator position supporting a BMW supplier in Spartanburg, SC. Compensation is set at $17.50 per hour for the first shift, while second and third shifts earn $19.50 per hour. Available Shift Schedules First shift operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Second shift runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Third shift is scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. We also offer 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM shifts. We also offer 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM shifts. Core Duties Manage equipment operations to complete daily manufacturing objectives. Adhere to all established operational guidelines and safety protocols. Ensure output meets established quality and efficiency benchmarks. Notify management immediately regarding any technical or production complications. Ensure all completed items are accurately labeled and prepared for shipping. Conduct routine upkeep and minor repairs on production equipment. Help maintain a clean and safe working environment for the entire team. Execute other miscellaneous tasks as requested by supervisors. Desired Qualifications Completion of a high school diploma or GED is mandatory. Possession of a technical certification is considered an asset. Prior background in manufacturing or operating machinery is preferred. Experience within the automotive sector is highly valued. Demonstrate robust mechanical problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities. Interpret technical documentation and procedural manuals effectively. Apply a thorough knowledge of safety and quality control requirements. Support the team by lifting heavy materials and remaining on your feet throughout the shift. Required Proficiencies Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Current OSHA 10-Hour safety certification. Equipment and Technical Systems TIG Welding apparatus.
