Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Sprayer Machine Operator position in Spartanburg. As a Sprayer Machine Operator, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint using the machine to metal surfaces. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below! Responsibilities for this General Laborer job include: ? Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary ? Select and mix paint colors to match specifications ? Apply paint to surfaces using a spray gun ? Ensure that paint is applied evenly and without drips or runs ? Monitor drying times and make adjustments as necessary ? Clean and maintain spray guns and other equipment ? Proven experience as a Spray Painter or similar role such as an automated welding machine operator

Qualifications:

? Prior experience in a manufacturing environment ? Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time ? Ability to use calipers and micrometers ? Must have basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Hours/Work Schedule:

2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm

Pay:
