Prefinish Operations Technician Pella Gateway - 5.0 North Sioux City, SD Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Moving High school diploma or GED Materials handling Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description The Prefinish Operations Technician plays a key role in supporting daily prefinish paint booth operations while working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure product quality, workflow efficiency, and on-time production. This position is responsible for handling, preparing, painting support, moving, cleaning, and reassembling windows and doors throughout the prefinish process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate daily prefinish production activities. Safely move windows, doors, and related materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. Prepare products for finishing by inspecting, cleaning, masking, and disassembling components as required. Transport products through various stages of the prefinish paint booth process. Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products. Monitor products during the finishing process to ensure proper handling and quality standards are maintained. Clean finished products and remove masking or protective materials after painting. Reassemble windows, doors, and hardware components according to company specifications. Conduct basic quality inspections before products are released for shipment or installation. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the paint booth, warehouse, and work areas. Assist with inventory management, material staging, and product tracking. Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong organizational and time management skills. Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, finishing, painting, or woodworking environments. Familiarity with window and door products. Experience working with paint booth or finishing equipment.
