In this role, you will operate plastic recycling and reprocessing equipment that converts approved production scrap into reusable pelletized material. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate production equipment in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a key role in supporting product quality, material recovery, production efficiency, and workplace safety.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Safely operate plastic recycling and reprocessing equipment according to established procedures + Verify material identification, labels, lot codes, and work orders prior to processing + Perform pre-start inspections and safety checks before equipment startup + Monitor extrusion, shredding, cooling, and pelletizing processes throughout production + Verify equipment settings, temperatures, and operating parameters + Identify and troubleshoot routine process issues, including material buildup, pellet quality concerns, and equipment interruptions + Perform quality checks and maintain accurate production records + Ensure proper material segregation and traceability throughout the manufacturing process + Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards + Communicate equipment, quality, and production updates during shift handoffs + Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality problems promptly •Qualifications•Required•+ Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment + Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills + Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and production documentation + Ability to accurately complete production and quality records •Preferred•+ High School Diploma or GED + Previous manufacturing, production, machine operator, extrusion, plastics, recycling, or industrial experience •Physical Requirements•+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally + Ability to work safely around industrial machinery, moving equipment, and hot surfaces + Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) •Safety Expectations•+ Follow all company safety policies and procedures + Wear required PPE at all times + Adhere to machine guarding and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements + Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards •
Pay Details:
  • $17.
