Job Description
Description Openings 1st shift, Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 3pm-11:30pm As an integral part of our production team, the Laminator ensures our products are expertly processed to meet customer specifications. You will help set up, load, and operate heavy-duty machinery, closely monitoring the quality of the products throughout the lamination process. Collaborating with the lead operator and quality assurance team, you'll track production orders, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure smooth, efficient operations. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities Assist in setting up, loading, and operating lamination machinery. Monitor product quality throughout the lamination process. Review production orders and follow specific instructions for materials and setup. Load raw material rolls onto the machine and unload finished rolls. Maintain accurate production logs and record downtime. Input data into the Order Allocation Program. Assist in training new employees in machine operation and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following safety protocols and using required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection). Assist in regular cleaning and maintenance of the machine. Report any unusual conditions or safety concerns to the lead operator. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and understand English for interpreting setup sheets and SOPs. Basic computer skills for data entry and communication. Prior experience in a warehouse or factory environment, particularly with machine operation, is required. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience, preferably in a team lead or supervisory role. Good people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and escalate issues when necessary. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
