The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing and handling ingredients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality, safety, and accuracy. This role requires physical dexterity, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and power pallet jacks. The Ingredient Handler plays a vital role in maintaining smooth operations within our production or warehouse facilities. Responsibilities Safely and accurately handle, organize, and store ingredients according to company standards. Operate forklifts and power pallet jacks to move ingredients within storage areas, ensuring proper stacking and placement. Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness, reporting any discrepancies or issues to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety procedures and protocols related to material handling and equipment operation. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and documentation of ingredient movement. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and ensure timely delivery of ingredients. Experience Valid forklift certification is required. Experience operating power pallet jacks is essential. Prior experience in ingredient handling, warehouse operations, or related roles is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail. Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety guidelines are essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
