Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Assembly Operator positions for a Manufacturing company in Lewisburg, TN. These are Temp/Contract jobs. !
Duties for this position include:
Assemble automotive components using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment Follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings Perform in-process and final inspections to verify proper assembly Report any defective parts or machinery issues to team leaders or maintenance Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety and PPE guidelines Support team members and contribute to overall production goals Compensation (USD): 1st Shift $15.00/hour 2nd Shift $16.00/hour
Schedule:
1st Shift Monday
- Friday 7:00 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. 2nd Shift Monday
- Friday 3:30 p.m.
- 12:00 a.m. or 4:30 p.m.
- 2:00 a.
m. Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (automotive industry preferred) Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical work instructions Familiarity with safety, quality, and productivity standards in a production setting Ability to use basic measurement tools such as calipers or gauges is a plus Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods (8-12 hours) Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 35 lbs. regularly Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small parts and tools Comfortable working in environments with noise, heat, chemicals, or dust (with proper PPE) Capable of wearing respiratory and safety equipment as required
