Batch Maker Job Description The Batch Maker prepares, mixes, and packages liquid products in a controlled manufacturing environment, ensuring each batch meets quality and safety standards. This role follows detailed formulas, operates production and material-handling equipment, and maintains accurate documentation throughout the batch process. The position requires flexibility to work any of the established shifts and close adherence to good manufacturing and safety practices. Responsibilities Review assigned formulas to determine chemical and packaging requirements, ensuring the correct sequence of reactions and mixing steps. Complete assigned batches within the allotted time while maintaining quality and safety standards. Retrieve ingredients according to the formula, ensuring only quality-controlled and approved materials are used. Accurately measure ingredients and record any substitutions, over-pours, or deviations, obtaining supervisor approval as needed. Monitor equipment and observe production throughout the batch process to ensure proper operation and product consistency. Package approved batches and label all finished product containers accurately and clearly. Stock supplies and label containers of raw materials as needed to support ongoing production. Clean, sanitize, and inspect tools, pumps, tanks, pipelines, and other equipment to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination. Essential Skills Experience as a mixer, blender, batch maker, batch mixer, or similar production role in a manufacturing environment. Ability to follow detailed formulas and recipes accurately and consistently. Ability to operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail for accurate measuring, labeling, and documentation. Commitment to following all safety rules, including lockout/tagout procedures and chemical handling protocols. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.36 - $21.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
