Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators for our aluminum manufacturing operations in Halls, TN. This role involves operating and monitoring production equipment for extrusion, anodizing, fabrication, cutting, and packing processes. Operators may be assigned to technical equipment such as extrusion presses, anodizing lines, CNC machines, saws, punch presses, or other specialized machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production equipment for aluminum extrusion, anodizing, fabrication, and related processes Follow work instructions and safety guidelines Assist with machine setup and perform routine checks Report production issues and document appropriately Support quality control by inspecting finished products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred Previous experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, warehouse, fabrication, metal, automotive, or industrial environments strongly preferred Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety procedures Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn new equipment and processes Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night; 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift) Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs] Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aluminum extrusion, anodizing, or fabrication machinery Familiarity with CNC, extrusion presses, or other specialized equipment Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
