• 12:00 AMDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machinery and related equipment to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.

They must have thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-built product.

Follow all company safety regulations necessary working in and around a manufacturing environmentSet-up and operate various equipment in the functions of cut, punch, form, or bend to create quality finished partsAbility to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication of equipment and production tools as directed by management to maintain proper operationLabel part numbers, order numbers, and number of pieces of parts. Attach identification tags required for customers for ability to efficiently locate partsInterpret blueprints, specification drawings, and technical data sheets to select correct raw material or semi finish partsMaintain continuous improvement practices in work areaMay be assigned other projects necessary too business operational success as designated by a team leader or managementQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Some knowledge of a manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistMobility

• Long periods of time on feet standing, bending, etc.

Exposure

• Moving mechanical parts, fumes, air borne particles, and a non-climate controlled environmentNoise tolerance
