High SchoolResponsibilities Operates Automated Packer according to procedure. Assures proper operation of stacking equipment, and overhead case transfers preceding the packing. Salvages damaged products Assists the filler operator in setting up the filler at start-up and changeovers. When changing from one size/flavor to another size/flavor, the packer seals and records the number of all unused containers and returns unused portions to their proper storage location in the Dry Storage Warehouse. Records the number of cartons packed on the production run sheet. Completely clean the culture packaging machinery including parts, fittings, conveyors, and surrounding areas. Must be able to perform all functions of the Modern Operator position and give breaks to the person in that position Must obtain appropriate training as "Qualified Individual" to properly monitor Preventative Controls specific to job duties Fulfill all assignments as given by the Master Safety/Sanitation Program. May be required to rotate jobs for short periods of time with the Modern Operator. Check to assure that all products bottled have the correct code date and are packaged in the correct carton.
