Job Summary:
The hand pack operator will be responsible for hand packing and ensure the efficient and safe packaging of products. We are seeking 1st and 2nd shift Hand Packagers to join our team at Ideal Tridon in Smyrna TN!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Shift:
1st 7:00am - 3:00pm 2nd 3:00pm-11:00pm
Hourly Pay Range:
$17.25 - $17.54 + $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd shift
Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspects packaged products for quality and adherence to specifications, including proper labeling and sealing. Records production data, including output quantities, downtime, and maintenance activities, in production logs or databases. Collaborates with production team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic math skills. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for operating machinery. Good communication skills to convey information effectively to team members.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting and reaching with hands and arms. May occasionally climb stairs. Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
