Assembly Machine Operator Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour

Tullahoma, TN Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30

PM CST Overtime:

Occasional overtime beyond scheduled hours may be required, including Fridays and Saturdays. We are seeking an experienced Assembly Machine Operator II to safely operate and maintain high-speed, large-scale automated assembly equipment. This role includes machine setup and changeovers, equipment adjustments and repairs, quality inspections, and routine preventive maintenance. Responsibilities Safely operate assigned automated assembly machines. Perform machine setups, changeovers, major adjustments, and complex repairs. Complete quality checks according to the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP). Record measurements specified on prints at required intervals. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and routine machine maintenance. Adjust and maintain tooling, including sharpening or conditioning tools and checking spring-loaded pin height. Replace sensors, punches, dies, stock components, air cylinders, belts, and other machine parts. Adjust housing feeds according to established standards. Use height indicators, ram optics, gauges, and microscopes for visual inspections. Identify and reset machine faults, clear jams, and restart production. Remove and package finished products. Follow company procedures and safety requirements. Qualifications At least one year of relevant work experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training. Working knowledge of machine operation, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Ability to recognize when a situation may require an appropriate deviation from established procedures. Availability for occasional overtime, including Fridays and Saturdays.
