Job Description
Job Overview The primary duty of a blender/compounder is to gather raw materials and/or weighed out ingredients from the weighing department according to specifications for the processing of finished products. The blender/compounder will report directly to the Compounding Manager or Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Identifies & gathers raw materials and/or weighed out ingredients according to batch records. Blend/compound raw materials/ingredients according to specifications Record/document batch records accurately. Identify allergens to avoid cross-contamination. Set up and clean blender/machine/equipment according to procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Food safety standards and regulations. Knowledge of cGMPs Ability to manage processes and procedures. Ability to manage team members effectively. Ability to work in an environment with inside/outside extreme temperatures and in noisy environments. Able to perform repetitive tasks . Able to lift up to 50 lbs . Able to operate scales. Able to read and follow directions accurately. Able to record data on specified forms.
