Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities: Perform machine operation functions. Perform label verification checks Assist all stations on the production line where bottlenecks occur Assist in the correct code date verification Maintain hour-by-hour boards tracking downtime, staffing, product in progress, pressurization time, fill rates, and cycles completed per hour. Understand and complete paperwork associated with the product for each customer's specifications.
Additional Responsibilities:
Report any issues to supervisor immediately. Communicate changeovers with quality and team lead to make sure a three-party verification takes place. Label change outs.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience working in a cold environment.
Qualifications:
Machine operator experience is desired Experience working in a team environment Display ability to meet daily deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. Proven satisfactory attendance Must be flexible with work schedule and job duties in a changing work environment. Good communication skills (read, write, speak) Proven legible writing skills. Working Conditions This job operates in a cold and wet environment located within the facility. Requires standing for the entire shift, bending, twisting, and lifting. Ability to lift 45 pounds or more on a regular basis. Push/pull up to 250 pounds on rollers regularly.
