Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and standards. Use measuring instruments and technical drawings to perform precise assembly and mechanical tasks. Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing processes. Conduct manual handling of materials, heavy lifting, and use hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks. Manage inventory of parts and materials using forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to optimize production flow. Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards and manufacturing best practices. Skills Proven experience operating forklifts within a manufacturing or factory environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation accurately. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and safety standards in production environments. Experience managing or supporting assembly line operations with a focus on quality control. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures. Technical proficiency in interpreting production documents and utilizing manufacturing management systems.
