Job Description

CuStumm Design & Tees is looking for an experienced Embroidery Technician to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
Operate commercial embroidery machines. Hoop and prepare garments for embroidery. Load designs and monitor stitch quality. Trim threads, inspect finished products, and ensure quality standards. Develop price quotes, confirming all details with the customer such as size, stitch count, colors and placement on garment, sew out logo and develop proofs for approval. Write up customer estimates, work orders, and invoices. Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Keep work area organized and meet production deadlines.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and handle walk-in customers. Take details of potential orders. Pass follow ups on to appropriate departments. Provide help with screen printing operations when directed. Assist with vinyl/sign operations as needed including vinyl weeding, heat press and sign assembly. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating commercial embroidery machines is required. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to multitask and work independently. Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Experience with digitizing software is a plus, but not required. Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with external customers
