Job Description

Branded Caps is growing, and we're looking for someone who knows their way around an embroidery machine and takes pride in turning out great-looking work. We specialize in custom embroidered hats for businesses, teams, events, brands and organizations. Our orders can range from a few dozen hats to several hundred, so we're looking for someone dependable who can jump in when orders come through and help us keep production moving. This is a great fit for someone who already has embroidery experience and wants flexible, part-time work without a traditional 40-hour schedule. What you'll be doing: Setting up and operating our embroidery machine Hooping/loading hats and preparing them for production Threading machines and changing thread colors Running embroidered hat orders from start to finish Watching for thread breaks, alignment issues and other production problems Making basic machine adjustments when needed Checking finished hats for quality and consistency Trimming and cleaning up finished embroidery Keeping the embroidery area and equipment organized Helping us get orders completed accurately and on time What we're looking for: Previous embroidery machine experience is strongly preferred. You don't need to be a master digitizer or graphic designer, we primarily need someone who is comfortable operating the equipment and producing clean, consistent work. You should be dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently. Most importantly, we want someone who cares about the finished product. Crooked logos, loose threads and rushed work aren't our thing.
Schedule:
Part-time and flexible based on order volume. Some weeks may have smaller 25-50 piece orders, while larger orders may include 100-200+ hats. This could be a great side job for someone with embroidery or apparel-production experience who wants additional income without committing to a set full-time schedule.
Pay:
Estimated $15-$30/hour based on production volume and efficiency. Compensation is production-based and will be discussed during the interview.
