ABOUT THE ROLE
To properly operate and maintain pouch packaging equipment to support safe, efficient production.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operate pouch packaging equipment safely and efficiently while meeting quality and food safety standards. Set up, load, and adjust materials such as film, boxes, labels, and coding to keep production running smoothly. Monitor product weight, machine performance, and line set-ups to ensure accurate, consistent output. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support efficient changeovers with the team. Clean, sanitize, assemble, and disassemble equipment using established procedures. Complete required production, inspection, and downtime documentation and support other assigned duties as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
: High school diploma or GED, plus 1-2 years of related manufacturing or production experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Ability to work on your feet for most of the shift and regularly bend, reach, lift, carry, and move materials, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with noise, moisture, moving equipment, and required protective gear. Basic reading, writing, communication, problem-solving, and math skills to follow instructions and complete production paperwork. Willingness to use required tools, equipment, and safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and machine operation systems. Pay & Benefits Pay Range (Base Pay): $22.00/hr. - $24.95/hr.
Other Compensation:
May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
