Job Description

Machine Operator - Saw Operator 200 Texas Ave, Columbus, TX 78934
Position Summary:
Produces machined parts for production equipment from a variety of metals to specification by operating machining equipment.
Job Description:
Produces parts to specification by setting and operating machinery Maintains quality of manufactured parts by inspecting parts in process Supports required production schedules by maintaining efficient production cycles Maintains operational status of machines by monitoring condition of machine and reporting any needed repairs Maintains safe and organized work area by observing all safety policies and procedures
Required Test:
None Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience Three (3) years machine operating experience
Physical Strain:
Lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights Must be able to work under pressure
