Principle Accountabilities:
Works as part of the production crew with a main focus on preparing the machine for the production run, according to the customer order. Prepares the stencil that stamps the product with identification. Cleans and oils the machine daily. Orders pallets from the Forklift Driver, according to the need expressed on the schedule. Responsible for having pallets at the machine for the finished products. Assists with running orders when the machine is ready by watching the run continue smoothly and without problem. If a problem arises, such as machine failure, product quality is not to standard, or a shortage of paper, this individual notifies the operator of the problem. May need to work with management, maintenance, and other company employees to fix the problem. Palletizes the product according to the shop card and/or in a manner suitable for shipping. May be required to feed the machine on occasion. Responsible for adhering to the ISO procedures and taking direction from the operator. Works with various production machines and basic tools such as hammer and knife.
Physical Demands:
This position falls in the Medium Demand Work category, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to more objects. This position requires the employee to climb 10 to 15 stairs on a frequent basis.
