JOB SUMMARY
The Washline Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to produce products according to company specifications. Will ensure the efficiency and quality of production processes. Simultaneously operate various lines safely to produce quality products, meet team goals and maintain product safety. Work in a team environment supporting fellow employees.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
Monitor and record process parameters in accordance with company &/or OEM specifications. Adhere to Wash Line process protocols/procedures. Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance as required. Attend and participate in all required training. Monitor chemical consumption with the goal of minimizing the use of same. Work with Quality department to maintain acceptable washed flake quality. Follow all procedures, processes, and safety requirements. Ensure Wash Line area is kept clean. Report to work on time and maintain company attendance standards. Maintain appropriate work behavior with co-workers and management. Must be respirator certified. Must be Forklift certified. Must be trained in chemical handling. Overtime required. Report directly to Team Leader. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience manufacturing environment a plus. Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy and industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures. Must be able to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Bilingual preferred (Spanish is a plus).WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and machinery. May require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Position requires approximately 12 hours of working in extreme temperatures. Position requires approximately 12 hours per day standing and/or walking.
