ASSEMBLY OPERATOR - 1ST SHIFT MANUFACTURING & PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY
Openwork is hiring dependable Assembly Operators for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This hands-on position involves assembling wooden components into finished cable reels, performing quality checks, and supporting daily production operations. Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience and be comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.POSITION AT A GLANCE

Required as needed, including occasional 12-hour shifts and weekendsWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Assemble pre-cut wooden components into finished cable reels
- Use hand tools and measuring devices to complete assembly work
- Follow work instructions and production specifications
- Weigh, label, and tag finished products for shipment
- Apply grease to reels for waterproof protection
- Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy
- Move and handle materials throughout the production area
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience
- Experience using basic hand tools and measuring devices
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and product quality
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a labor-intensive, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work required overtime, including extended shifts and weekends

- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and material handling
- Repetitive assembly and production work
- Regular use of hand tools and measuring devices
