In this energetic role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery used in the production process, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow. Your proactive approach will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting our commitment to delivering top-notch packaging and manufacturing solutions. This position offers a fast-paced environment where your skills in machine operation, safety protocols, and teamwork will shine. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing machinery with precision and care. Set up and maintain production lines and ensure process control throughout the production line. Conduct routine inspections and monitor machine performance to prevent downtime and maintain product quality. Safely load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage. Protect and maintain production tooling and complete related equipment at set-up, during production and post-production (line take-down). Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate complex problems to supervisor and/or maintenance teams promptly. Maintain accurate production logs, quality documentation, and shift reports to ensure seamless operations. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation is highly preferred. Proficient in using hand tools and machinery controls with precision. GED or High School Diploma, required. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25-30 lbs. Capable of standing 8-12 hours per shift. Adequate vision to monitor machine operation, read gauges and inspect for safety and quality requirements. Ability to move around production area, including bending, reaching and squatting as needed. Ability to work effectively on 2nd or 3rd shift, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling. Able to work overtime and weekends as required. Able to read instructions, forms and other documents in English language, preferred. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards. Basic mechanical skills related to machining or equipment troubleshooting are beneficial.
