Job Description

We are looking for reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join our production team. We currently have two openings for trainees interested in learning and supporting our growing company as we start a new second shift. While previous slitting/lamination experience is preferred, it is not required. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, previous industrial machine-operating experience, attention to quality, and demonstrated ability to learn technical processes. Training & Schedule Paid training provided! The successful candidate will be trained to develop the skills needed to operate our specialized equipment safely and efficiently, maintain quality standards, meet production goals, and support other production areas as needed. The new employees will work with the day shift (7am-4pm) for approximately 3 months to ensure proper integration, training, and qualification. Once an employee demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to consistently independently operate the indicated equipment, they will be eligible to move to a machine operator position (+$2/hour) and move to second shift (approx 2pm-10pm). What You'll Do Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently. Set up and adjust machines according to job specifications. Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed. Perform quality checks and complete production paperwork. Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report problems. Perform routine cleaning and equipment maintenance. Follow all safety, GMP, and SQF requirements. Meet production and quality goals. Support other production areas when needed. What We're Looking For Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude and an eagerness to learn. Previous industrial machine-operating experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate. Attention to detail and Demonstrated Focus on Quality. Good Communication skills and Continuous Improvement. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team. Physical demands and work environment:
This role requires prolonged standing and frequent use of hands and arms, including reaching and lifting or moving materials up to 50 pounds. Employees may also need to walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, or crawl as required to perform essential job functions. You must have sufficient visual ability, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. The work environment may include moving mechanical equipment, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and elevated noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks and gloves, is provided as needed, and safety footwear is required. Employees must be 18 years old and must be authorized to work in the US.
