Operate additional equipment, including mini excavators and loaders, when needed. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites. Work efficiently to meet builder schedules and project deadlines. Requirements 5+ years of skid steer operating experience preferred. Previous experience with residential grading, excavation, or site development. Must know how to shoot grade and establish elevations independently. Ability to read grading plans and understand cut-and-fill requirements. Experience using rotary lasers, grade rods, and leveling equipment. Strong understanding of proper drainage slopes and final-grade requirements. Ability to operate equipment precisely around foundations, utilities, and existing structures. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with production homebuilders or residential developers. Experience operating excavators, mini excavators, and other heavy equipment. Familiarity with GPS grading systems. Knowledge of soil compaction, building pad preparation, and drainage swales. Ability to troubleshoot grading problems and make adjustments in the field. What We Offer Consistent opportunities through upcoming residential development contracts. Competitive pay based on experience and skill level. Opportunity for long-term employment and advancement as the company grows. Direct communication with company ownership. A team-oriented environment that values hard work, accountability, and quality.
