This position is responsible for machine changeovers, tooling installation and removal, die setup, machine preparation, and supporting production operations . Candidates should be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, aluminum tooling, and manufacturing equipment . Responsibilities Install, remove, and transport tooling, dies, and aluminum molds used in thermoforming operations Perform machine changeovers between production runs Read and follow work orders and production schedules Assist with die setup and tooling preparation Use hand tools, power tools, Allen wrenches, impact drivers, drills, sockets, and other shop equipment Perform basic drilling, assembly, and tooling modifications as needed Read tape measures and measuring devices accurately Support production and machine setup teams to minimize downtime Maintain a safe and organized work environment Requirements Previous manufacturing, machine shop, fabrication, maintenance, mechanic helper, setup technician, or production experience preferred Must be mechanically inclined Must be able to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16" and 1/32" Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Experience using hand tools and power tools Ability to lift 50-60 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and reliability Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen Ideal Backgrounds Candidates with experience as a: Manufacturing Technician Machine Operator Mechanic Helper Industrial Assembly Production Equipment Setup Apply Today If you are mechanically inclined and have experience with manufacturing, machine setup, fabrication, maintenance, production, or hand and power tools , this could be a great opportunity to build a long-term career.
