Role:
BEPC Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Operator I to support our client's manufacturing operations. This role will primarily support the Assembly Department and ACP Pack area, where team members build and assemble Alinity diagnostic instruments and related components. The ideal candidate will have prior assembly and testing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills. This position requires a commitment to quality, accuracy, and productivity in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble Alinity instruments, subassemblies, and components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and limited automated equipment. Support production activities within both the Assembly Department and ACP Pack area. Perform functional testing, calibration, and verification procedures to ensure product accuracy and reliability. Inspect components and finished products to verify compliance with quality, FDA, ISO, and internal manufacturing standards. Troubleshoot assembly and production issues while collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Complete production documentation, material tracking, and non-conformance reports accurately. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and safety protocols. Maintain daily production goals while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Assist with training and mentoring other operators as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous assembly and testing experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Basic computer skills and ability to navigate production systems. Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience assembling electromechanical, medical device, or diagnostic equipment. Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, ISO, GMP). Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing documentation requirements. Experience working with testing, calibration, and inspection processes. About
