Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Production Department. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the production and fabrication of components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality requirements.
Required:
Valid passport and ability to travel to China for approximately two months of required training.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start production cycles. Operate a variety of engineering machinery such as die bonders, wire bonders, plasma cleaners, optical alignment, functional test sets Monitor machine operations and adjust settings for optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation. Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with engineers and other production staff to improve processes and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience with optical equipment highly preferred. Ability to read technical documents and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Good communication skills and teamwork.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift to 40 lbs. Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods. Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with exposure to machinery and moving parts.
Work Environment:
Class 10,000 cleanroom for optical transceiver products. Use of cleanroom clothing.
