Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your skills directly impact product quality and operational excellence. Duties Operate and monitor various machinery including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC milling machines to produce precision parts. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to set up machines accurately and ensure specifications are met. Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to maintain optimal performance and prevent downtime. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, shop math, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and other tools for dimensional inspections and quality control. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment to load raw materials and move finished products efficiently. Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE, and maintaining a clean workspace. Assist with assembly line tasks or packaging as needed to support overall production flow. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machines, including CNC programming or CAM programming knowledge is highly desirable. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or similar industrial automation systems. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes such as stamping, machining, or sheet metal work. Proficiency with shop math, basic measurements, and the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations is preferred. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment issues and mechanical problems. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.
