Skilled Manufacturing Opportunity | Full-Time | Apply Today! RPM Staffing is looking for a skilled and dependable Armor Operator to join a manufacturing team. If you have mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and enjoy working with equipment, this could be a great opportunity to put your skills to work.

Schedule:

Weeknights Training:

Weekday training provided before transitioning to the night shift schedule

Starting Pay:

$19.50/HR What You'll Do

• Set up and operate equipment used to produce wire, strap, and continuous welded armor products
• Read and understand work orders to determine customer and production requirements
• Operate control panels, controls, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Set up and run different types of armor, including Gardex, Strap, and Wire Armor
• Perform in-process repairs and adjustments to wire and strap armor
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG and torch welders, mechanical pressure welders, and electronic welders
• Set up and operate spark testing equipment
• Safely use hoists when lifting and loading strap armor
• Monitor production for unusual conditions, defective materials, or equipment issues What We're Looking For
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience
• Welding experience preferred
• Ability to operate and understand machinery controls
• Ability to troubleshoot and make in-process repairs
