Hardband Operator

We are seeking an experienced Hardband Operator to join our team. This role involves applying, removing, and repairing hardbanding on drill pipe and other tubulars in accordance with DS-1 standards. While most work is performed at our Odessa yard and machine shop, occasional travel to rig locations is required. Requirements Mandatory:

Strong knowledge of DS-1 standards related to hardbanding application, removal, and repair Experience with hardband application required Experience with grinding and/or plasma removal preferred Ability to work 50+ hours per week Willingness to travel occasionally to field/rig locations Strong work ethic and reliability (no tolerance for no-call/no-show) Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Key Responsibilities Apply hardbanding to drill pipe, drill collars, hevi-wate , and tubing Perform hardband removal using grinding and/or plasma techniques Apply hardbanding to meet DS-1 standards Ensure proper preheat, application, and cooling procedures Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Follow all safety procedures and company policies Assist with shop operations and other duties as needed
