Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Press Operator for a long-term 2nd shift opportunity in a metal manufacturing environment. This position will operate industrial machinery, including dishing/metal forming equipment. We are looking for candidates with previous machine shop or manufacturing machine operation experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled facility.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 3:30 PM-1:30 AM Saturday work may be required depending on production needs Saturday hours are typically 1:30 PM-9:30 PM This is a long-term 2nd shift position . Candidates must be comfortable remaining on 2nd shift. Responsibilities Operate industrial manufacturing and metal-forming machinery Follow manufacturing/work orders and production specifications Read and accurately use a tape measure Load, position and handle materials during the manufacturing process Inspect work and maintain production quality standards Strictly follow all plant safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Work safely in a hot, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of machine operator experience Previous machine shop, metal manufacturing or similar industrial experience Ability to read a tape measure Ability to read and interpret manufacturing/work orders Comfortable working in a hot, non-climate-controlled facility Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to work the full 2nd shift schedule and Saturdays when required Bilingual English/Spanish Must be eligible to work in the United States and successfully complete E-Verify Valid Texas identification Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Press operation Dishing presses Hydraulic presses Metal forming Metal fabrication Machine shops Forklift operation Overhead crane operation Hiring Process Qualified candidates should be prepared to complete: Resume review In-person interview Drug screening Background screening Employment eligibility verification/E-Verify Candidates should provide complete and accurate information during the hiring process.
